Question: How old do I have to be to participate?
Answer: All participants must be at least 18 years of age. There are no exceptions.

Question: Will I ever be asked to pay a rake?
Answer: No. The rake is defined as money taken by the house to compensate for expenses. With Poker Tournament Series, players will never be charged a rake. All monies collected for a given tournament are paid out at the conclusion of that event, minus the reserved Championship fees which are paid out at the conclusion of the Championship tournament which designates the seasons Champion at the end of the season. Therefore, all monies collected are paid out.

Question: How do I register?
Answer: To confirm your placement in a tournament, contact by e-mail Register Here. This will be based strictly on a first come first served basis.

Question: How do I qualify for the Championship tournament?
Answer: A player simply needs to be in the top 9 in player standings based on the points that are accrued. In the event a player within the top 9 cannot attend the Championship tournament, their spot will be offered to the next available player in the player standings.

Question: Does the defending Champion have the right to defend their title even if they are not in the top 9 in player standings?
Answer: No. Each season stands on its own and only the players that have earned an invitation will be permitted to participate.  

Question: How is the player of the year determined?
Answer: The player of the year is determined via a points based system that factors in a number of statistics based on performance.
